What you will be doing:

Acting as key contact for auditors for several Group companies.

Investigate and resolve audit queries.

Production of annual statutory accounts. Excel model and Word.

Reconciliation of statutory accounts to trial balance.

Prepare and produce tax packs.

Support of Group level accounting.

Month end close support to include accruals, prepayments and bank statement reconciliation.

Work with the Finance team to continually improve processes and business performance;

Go to person for audit and statutory account and tax queries;

Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward;

Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.

Achieving individual goals and objectives.

Understanding and adhering to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.

Timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist with auditors and other external parties.

About you:

ACCA / ACA / CIMA finalist or qualified.

Advanced Excel.

Multi-currency experience.

Experience in a multi-entity environment.

Experience of Producing Statutory accounts.

Advanced Word experience.

Previous experience of systems implementation is advantageous.

An in-depth knowledge of Systems / SQL database.
